Quick re-paint of an old commission. The aim was to follow a strict four hour time-limit. I would say still needs finishing, but time-line adhered to = win.
And here was the original one, done about six years ago? I have upped the contrast/colour on a lot of my very old pieces, as the monitor I had at the time was terrible and I didn't realise that people were seeing these de-saturated and lacking contrast haha!
Back then I used Poser for figure references, which you can see in the stiffness of this figure. Now I use actual people for references which probably shows in the realism of my shapes - usually myself for a female character, or my brother for a male character, but sometimes I just grab whoever is close and ask them to pose for me, which can be amusing and embarrassing.
