Title: Maelmadoc
Name: Rochelle Green
Country: New Zealand
Software: Photoshop and painter

Inspired by warhammer/warcraft concept art, I wanted to do an armour study. This is a dark paladin character of mine - witch, priest, and warrior, and worshipper of the death gods.

Mostly done in photoshop over a few weeks, with some textures and other parts done in painter. The face and bird I had painted from scratch a few years ago as an old sketch so I just reworked these here. Let me know if you want to see those. Warhammer concepts loosely referenced so that the look of the armour and weapons are similar (but without so many of the spikes and arrow/circle pattern designs).

I purposefully lowered the contrast on this picture, wanting it to be very close to greyscale. Let me know what you think about the less saturated colours - good? Bad?

CC welcome!
